Description
These lovely old fashioned tin baths are handmade to order by our master craftsman Steve, he's seen in action in our photograph here. Available in three lengths 36", 48" and 54", our baths have a variety of different uses including:
- Bathing the family dog - the 36" bath is shown above being modelled by Archie Blick
- Therapeutic cold/ice bathing
- Container gardening - photo of the beautiful herb garden courtesy of the talented Mrs McGorie
- Mixing cement
- Ice baths for cooling bottled and canned drinks at garden parties and barbecues etc.
A rarely seen, brand new, galvanised tin bath! Good quality rustic design, hand made with carry handles at either end. Please take time to read this entire page before ordering thanks.

- 24 gauge steel
- Available in three lengths – 36″, 48″ and 54″. All sizes are 20″ wide x 12″ deep.
- Handmade in the old-fashioned way in the UK.
- Cut to our original patterns used when Brettell Brothers first started trading in 1946

As these baths are handmade, sizes may vary slightly from dimensions shown here. The baths may have blemishes / scratches on them - this is to be expected from the materials used.
*Regrettably we are unable to manufacture them in bespoke shapes, sizes, or colours, neither can we modify the design to include plug holes*
TIN BATH - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Can I actually use this as a bath?
A. People do buy these to bathe in, just like the old days. However, they may be rough edges and you should be aware that they are really made for outdoor use and we cannot guarantee against leakage or seepage. But essentially, yes you can use it as a bath.
Q. How well made are they?
A. We think they are really good. Please remember they are handmade and are therefore "rustic".
Q. Are they any good for dog washing?
A. Yes they are perfect for dog washing.
Q. Will these tin baths go rusty.
A. They are galvanised so should not go rusty, at least not for a long time.
Q. Have they got handles?
A. Yes there is a handle at either end for carrying or hanging.
