Handrail Top Single Gate - Made to Measure

This simple and understated style is fast becoming one of our best sellers. Looks similar to our Flat Top Double Gate but the top bar has a soft D shaped profile.
This product matches our Handrail Top Double Gates and Handrail Top Railing .

Specification

Gates with 12mm Vertical Bars

- Made to order using 12mm solid square vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals (4"). 

- The framework is made using 40mm x 12mm D shaped profile handrail bar for the top horizontal bar, 40mm x 8mm flat bar for the bottom horizontal crossrail and 40mm SHS (Square Hollow Section) steel for the verticals.

Gates with 16mm Vertical Bars

- Made to order using 16mm solid square vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals (4"). 

- The framework is made using 40mm x 12mm D shaped profile handrail bar for the top horizontal bar, 40mm x 8mm for the bottom horizontal crossrail and 40mm SHS steel for the verticals.

Please note that we make the 914mm (3ft) and 1220mm (4ft) high gates with one row of decoration and the 1830mm (6ft) high gates with two rows of decoration.
Finished in matte black primer as standard.  If you require powder coating and/or hot dip galvanizing please select these prior to checkout.  Click here for a description of these finishes.

Each gate will be supplied with a free fixing kit comprising:
- 2 gate hanging lugs
- 2 adjustable eyebolts
- 1 gate keep
- 1 flip latch with fixing nut and bolt

We do not supply the nuts and bolts required for fixing ironworks into brickwork, stonework or the ground.  Please buy the correct fixings to suit the material to which your ironworks will be fitted.

Sizes and Measuring

All sizes quoted are gap sizes not actual gate sizes.  Please measure the entire width of your opening i.e. brick to brick and we will calculate all allowances for brackets, hinges, clearances etc. before we make your gate.  Please see How to Measure Accurately for further advice before placing your order.

If the size you need isn't displayed please contact us with the dimensions you require and we will prepare a quote for you. We make bespoke sizes without the high price tag of made to measure products. If you require a gate that falls between two sizes in our pricing bands you will only pay for the next size up.  We do not charge a supplement for manufacturing your bespoke size.
