Windsor Double Gates - Made to Measure

Gently pointed Fleur de Lys style railheads are set on round vertical bars.  For a Fleur de Lys with a safety top (small ball on top of the railhead) please see GRD 1 in our Select Range.
This product matches the Windsor Single Gates and our Windsor Railing .

Specification

Gates with 12mm Vertical Bars
Made to order using 12mm solid round vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals (4″). Railheads are 130mm high x 25mm wide. The decorative bushes on the vertical bars measure 65mm high x 40mm wide. The framework is made using 30mm x 8mm flat bar horizontal crossrails and 30mm SHS (Square Hollow Section) steel for the verticals.
Gates with 16mm Vertical Bars
Made to order using 16mm solid round vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals (4″). Railheads are 155mm high x 70mm wide. The decorative bushes on the vertical bars measure 80mm high x 50mm wide. The framework is made using 40mm x 8mm flat bar horizontal crossrails and 40mm SHS steel for the verticals.
Please note that we make the 914mm (3ft) and 1220mm (4ft) high gates with one row of decoration (above right) and the 1830mm (6ft) high gates with two rows of decoration (shown above left).
Finished in matte black primer as standard.  If you require powder coating and/or hot dip galvanizing please select these prior to checkout.  Click here for a description of these finishes.
Each gate is supplied with a free fixing kit comprising:
2 adjustable eye bolts
1 lockable drop bolt
1 slide bolt

Hinges
We do not supply the fixings required for fitting ironworks into brickwork, stonework or the ground.  Please buy the correct fixings to suit the material to which your ironworks will be fitted.

Sizes and Measuring

All sizes quoted are gap sizes not actual gate sizes.  Please measure the entire width of your opening i.e. brick to brick and we will calculate all allowances for brackets, hinges, clearances etc. before we make your  gate.  Please see How to Measure Accurately for further advice before placing your order.
If the size you need isn't displayed please contact us with the dimensions you require and we will prepare a quote for you. We make bespoke sizes without the high price tag of made to measure products. If you require double gates that fall between two of the sizes on our website you will only pay for the next size up.  We do not charge a supplement for manufacturing your bespoke size.
