Windsor Railing - Made to Measure

Gently pointed Fleur de Lys style railheads are set on round vertical bars.  For the Fleur de Lys with a safety top (small ball on top of the railhead) please see GRD 1 in our Select Range.
This product matches our Windsor Double Gates and our Windsor Single Gate .

Specification

All railings are made to order.

Railings with 12mm Vertical Bars

• 12mm solid round vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals
• 30mm x 8mm flat bar horizontal top and bottom rails
• 130mm high x 60mm wide railheads on a 12mm round base
• 65mm high x 40mm wide decorative bushes

Railings with 16mm Vertical Bars

• 16mm solid round vertical steel bars spaced at 100mm intervals
• 40mm x 8mm flat bar horizontal top and bottom rails
• 155mm high x 70mm wide railheads on a 16mm round base
• 65mm high x 40mm wide decorative bushes

Finished in matte black primer as standard.  If you require powder coating and/or hot dip galvanizing please select these prior to checkout.  Click here for a description of these finishes.
All railings are supplied with a free fixing kit comprising all the nuts, bolts, washers and brackets required to fit your railing panels together.

We do not supply the bolts for fixing ironworks to brickwork, stonework or the ground.  Please buy the correct fixings to suit the material to which your ironworks will be fitted.

As standard our railing posts are 50mm Square Hollow Section (SHS) flat topped steel.  If you prefer a more seamless look to your railings, we also make narrower posts from 30mm SHS which can be topped with a railhead to match your railings, as shown in the photo above. Please ask us about narrower posts and we will provide an itemised quote.

Sizes and Measuring

All sizes quoted are gap sizes not actual railing sizes.  Please measure the entire width of your opening i.e. brick to brick and we will calculate all allowances for brackets and clearances before we make your railing.  Please see How to Measure Accurately for further advice before placing your order.

If the size you need isn't displayed please contact us with the dimensions you require and we will prepare a quote for you. We make bespoke sizes without the high price tag of made to measure products.  If you require railings that fall between two of the sizes on our website you will only pay for the next size up.  We do not charge a supplement for manufacturing your bespoke size.
